Another Friday means another blog post! I’ve been having so much fun documenting all of my outfits this summer, and this is probably one of my favorites. Being extra is my hobby, so this little two-piece set was right up my alley. This is actually super old, and I finally had the courage to wear it. I bought it for a Florida trip a couple of years ago, and I’m honestly not sure why it’s been tucked away in my closet for so long. So, tip of the day – don’t forget to shop in your closet! You never know what you will find hiding in behind of all your new clothes.

Two-piece sets are one of my favorite trends this summer, because it’s already put together for you, and you don’t have to worry about figuring out what to wear. Another reason I like them is because you can mix and match the top and bottoms with different pieces. I don’t know about you, but I think of my wardrobe as an investment. I, of course, love trying trendy pieces, but there are some questions I ask myself before purchasing them. Next time you go shopping or start putting items in your cart online try asking yourself, “does this fit my style? Is there more than one way I can wear this? Do I already have the accessories I need to make an outfit with this? Can I wear this to multiple occasions?” If the answer is yes to all of these questions, then by all means, buy it girl! Don’t get me wrong, I can be the world’s greatest compulsive shopper, but now that I’ve started working I understand the importance of saving my bucks to buy the necessities. Wow, I just sounded like an adult. Who am I right now?!?
You already know the deal with my accessories. I know you’re probably tired of seeing these shoes and bag in all of my Instagram posts, but what can I say? A girl loves her wedges and bamboo bag. Greatest trends on the planet. I definitely enjoy the fact that high fashion pieces are now starting to include comfort. I’m all about being comfy, so throw all the platform wedges my way. I never get tired of wearing them… literally.
