It’s finally Friday, which means a new blog post is finally here. Let me just start off by saying that this week has been exhausting. Being a student, intern, and blogger is not the easiest thing to balance. All I want to do is shoot outfits for y’all, but all of the exams and deliverables are telling me otherwise. I would love to have your feedback on how you balance your work and home life. I can’t even imagine what it would be like to have a husband and kids to tend to on top of all of that, so you’ve got to spill your secrets.

Anyway, let’s get into the outfit before I go off on a tangent! You guys have been seeing a ton of neutrals lately, and I promise I’ll start pulling out brighter outfits soon. Don’t worry! For now, I wanted to share this affordable and flattering striped jumpsuit that I found on the Forever 21 website. Surprised at all? I don’t think so, but I’ve already said how much I love hunting their website. The pieces on there are so much cuter and easier to shop for online. Thank God their return policy allows for money to go back to your card now, because some of the items I purchase don’t always work out. One of the best tips I can give you about online shopping is to make sure to follow the measurement guide. It’ll save you lots of trouble when it comes to returns.
This jumpsuit has a vertical stripe print rather than the typical horizontal direction. This is great because it gives the illusion of a slimmer, taller frame. Ya girl definitely needs this, because I am super short and can start looking stubby really easily. The buttons are so easy to manage, and putting and taking it off is not hard at all. As you can see by the photos, this may be a tad too small for me, but I wasn’t patient enough to exchange the size. The material is super soft, and hides all the giggly areas you may be worried about. As for accessories, I’ve got my handy dandy nude heels and bag. I think it may be time for me to go shoe and bag shopping. Who else agrees?
