Let's Make A Difference

Hey, Cuties!

I wanted to take a moment and speak on something more serious than usual. As a blogger with a platform, I feel it is my duty to share ways to help you understand what is going on right now and ways you can make a difference. I want you all to take a moment to think about the pain that the black community is experiencing. Not just right now, but their entire lives. I have done my own research, and I encourage you to do the same, to help you understand the injustice that they have been put through and the ways that their lives are lived so much differently than yours and mine. All because of the color of their skin.

I am not going to get into too much of my opinion on the situation, because at the end of the day, I will offend someone regardless of what I say. My opinion is not what's important right now. However, I do want you all to know that what is happening right now and has been happening for centuries is NOT okay. It is unfair, frightening, sad, and plain wrong. If you want to learn ways you can educate yourself, ways to make a difference, and how you can support POC, you are more than welcome to use the resources listed below.

Don't forget to do your part as not only a citizen of this country, but as a human being. Never be afraid to speak out on your beliefs and fight for them. There are people in this country who dream of having their voice heard, but can't. So do your part. Change starts with you.

I hope you found this post helpful and that you are able to learn something that you didn't know before.

Take care and God bless.

XOXO,

Vannesa
