The past couple of years have been all about the over the knee boots, and I truly believe that they will make their way into 2017. So, I wanted to share my take on the most talked about shoe item and show you one of the millions of ways they can be styled.
For this look, I wanted the boots to do the walkin' and talkin' so I paired them with very neutral colors. Winter neutrals are seriously so in right now, so you can't go wrong with white jeans and a blush top.
These jeans have been my ride or dies since 2014, and they're still available here! They hug the legs, but aren't so tight that you can't breathe, and the distressing makes them that much better.
This top was a clearance find, which looks incredibly similar to the one here. The top is a little big on me, so I decided to add a twist to it by sliding it off the shoulder. Under that, I wore a bralette found here to peep through to add a touch of edge.
As for the star of the show, I found these over the knee boots at Target for $20 found here!! Yep, you read that correctly! They are the DV Marilyn Fashion Over the Knee Boots in cognac. I am truly obsessed! I get compliments on these every time I wear them, and everyone is so surprised when I tell them that they are from Target. That goes to show you that you don't have to spend a ton of money to find the perfect item that you have been wishing for. Accessorize to your liking and you have a gorgeous winter neutral outfit!
